Commercial HVAC · Centennial & the south metro

From tenant complaint to fixed.

Rockport looks after heating and cooling for offices, retail centers, medical suites and multi-tenant buildings — and works with the property manager from the first call to the last note. Homes too.

What tenants usually say

Common complaints, what usually causes them, and what to check before you call. All ten.

How a service call works

Three steps, and you hear about each one.

  1. You call or send the form

Tell us the building, the suite and what the tenant is saying. We confirm a time and how we will get access.

  2. We find the cause

Not just the symptom. A cold suite might be a thermostat, a damper, a zoning problem or a unit that is failing.

  3. You get a note

What we found, what we fixed, and anything that needs a decision — written for you, and plain enough to forward to the tenant.

Commercial

Buildings with more than one tenant, and more than one opinion.

The south metro is office parks, retail centers and medical buildings — many of them with a rooftop unit per suite and a thermostat everyone argues about.

  • Office parks around the Tech Center, Arapahoe Road and County Line.
  • Retail centers and restaurants.
  • Medical and dental suites.
  • HOA clubhouses and common areas.

Homes

And the house you go home to.

The same technicians work on houses and townhomes across Centennial, Littleton and Highlands Ranch — furnaces, air conditioners and heat pumps, repaired, maintained and replaced.

  • Furnace and AC repair, with the cause explained.
  • Replacement sized for the house, not the old nameplate.
  • Spring and fall tune-ups.

Questions

What property managers ask.

Do you work directly with property managers?

Yes. We arrange access with you, report back to you, and keep tenant contact to what you approve.

Why is one suite always too hot and the next one too cold?

Usually because one thermostat or one rooftop unit is serving spaces with very different loads: sunny and shaded sides, a server closet, a conference room. The fix may be rebalancing airflow, moving a thermostat, adding a zone or changing controls.

Water is dripping from a ceiling tile. Is that the roof?

Often it is the air conditioning: a blocked condensate drain or a cracked drain pan above the ceiling. Turn the unit off at the thermostat if you can, catch the water, and call. If it is raining at the time, it may be the roof or a unit curb.

Do you work on homes as well?

Yes. Commercial work leads, but we repair, maintain and replace furnaces, air conditioners and heat pumps in houses and townhomes across Centennial and the south metro.

Does Rockport do finishing or painting work?

No. “Finishes” is part of the name, not the trade. Rockport is a heating, ventilation and air conditioning contractor only.
